Form & Function is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in San Francisco in 2007. We create brand identities, digital experiences, and physical environments for clients who believe design is a strategic investment, not a cost center.

Our Philosophy

We named our studio after the enduring design principle that form follows function. For us, this means every aesthetic choice must serve a purpose. Beauty without utility is decoration; utility without beauty is engineering. We aim for the intersection where both thrive.

How We Work

Every project begins with listening. We conduct thorough research, facilitate collaborative workshops, and develop strategic frameworks before any visual design begins. This ensures our creative work is grounded in real insight, not assumption.
